Soul Tools is a Minneapolis based entertainment group that focuses on collaborating with like-minded and ambitious artists, producers, musicians, film-makers and entrepreneurs in order to help cultivate the creative community and promote those with similar goals. Since 2005 Soul Tools has worked in a handful of mediums and provided services in audio & video production, creative consultation, promotion and booking.
Emmy Award winning MC/Producer, radio host, arts ambassador, educator, and community organizer Toki Wright blends soulful yet futuristic music with intelligent content. Wright has over 1 million YouTube views, albums with Rhymesayers Entertainment, Top 20 charting on MTV for multiple videos, and an extensive and successful tour history.
Wright has played for sold out audiences throughout the United States, Asia, Canada, Africa, Europe, and South America. Touring solo alongside artists like Brother Ali, Devin The Dude, Evidence of Dilated Peoples, Atmosphere, Sean Price and more.

His performance reputation is rivaled only by his personal reputation. He’s a stand up member of his community and one of the most exciting hip hop artists coming out the Midwest. DJ Snuggles has stunned crowds all over the world and has been acknowledged by his hometown legends Prince, Atmosphere, and even Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu.
As a Twin Cities based poet, TV/radio personality, actress, entrepreneur, creative consultant and community organizer, Brittany “Miss Brit” Lynch is truly limitless. Working interdependently between media, art, curation and social justice, she has emerged as a tastemaker for the local entertainment scene. WCCO’s Urban Perspectives coined her as a “Rising Star” and The Star Tribune declared her one of the New Black Leaders of the Twin Cities . Miss Brit is a graduate of the University of Minnesota where she received her degree in the Sociology of Law, Criminology, and Deviance with a minor in African and African American studies.
DJ Willie Shu
Never afraid to take risks DJ/Producer Willie Shu has jumped to the forefront of the Twin Cities music scene and has his eyes set on the world. Carving a niche out in Urban Electronic music Shu is able to push boundaries with his high-energy presentation.
Willie Shu’s work has taken him coast to coast playing alongside famed artists like Dwele, Black Eyed Peas, The Internet, Grandmaster Flash, Har Mar Superstar, K Theory, and Nina Sky. His “Shunami’ mixtape series is one in a long list of tongue-in-cheek features that you will find in his popular social media posts. With his deadpan sense of humor “Shu-nasty” describes himself as a “sound system devouring sex tornado.”
Fused with a style spanning various musical landscapes, his monthly dance nights (including the notoriously sold out ‘Turnt Up’ parties), live on-air performances, and private event appearances have established him as a musical influencer for premium functions.
In 2003 Kevin Washington’s stellar drum skills were featured in Modern Drummer Magazine, however his dedication to drumming began as soon as he could hold the sticks. With teachers of excellent caliber who include Max Roach and Roy Brooks it was almost impossible for him to go wrong. Born in 1975 in Detroit, Michigan to musicians and scholars Donald and Faye Washington, his musical career began at the early age of five playing at local jazz festivals from 1981 to 1985. Kevin moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota when he was thirteen where his music career continued to flourish.
Karuza is for the people. He is a voice for the voiceless. He believes "Together we move forward and divided we move backwards." A diverse and versatile creative - some interests are writing, reading, sports, finance, fashion, music, languages and technology.
Karuza begun creating a world called Wello when he was 18. He has been living there since. He would love for you to visit sometime.

Joe Adams, born & raised in North Minneapolis. Husband & father of two. His writing isinfluenced and inspired by a spectrum of life experiences, study & host of many incredible Artists near & far.
Joe began writing poetry in 2000, while attending Washburn High School. In 2013, his artist teaching career began at Plymouth Christian Youth Center, where he co-teaches a Spoken Word Homeroom with Twin Cities MC’s, Desdamona & MaLLy. Joe is also a very proud member of, Soul Tools Media Group.
